About Mieke

Mieke de Vries is born and raised in Amsterdam. Since 2007 she has been living in Flayosc, a picturesque little town in the southern part of Provence. At an early age Mieke took private lessons with the well-known painter Rinus Duin from Abcoude, she then studied painting and free graphics at the Rietveld Academy of Arts in Amsterdam. Mieke also trained as an art teacher at the White Lily Institute specialising in Drawing.
